Maroush is a Lebanese restaurant chain that was opened in 1981 by Marouf Abouzaki and his wife after moving to London from Lebanon. There are now over 16 restaurants in the Maroush group, each with its own unique style and dedicated team.
We started working with Maroush producing written content for their website – the relationship developed and we went on to take over the social media accounts for three of their central London venues.
We took on the management of the Maroush social media channels and used our experience in the food and beverage industry to create mouthwatering content that drove engagement and helped us grow and nurture an engaged audience. There was initially no visual identity across the Maroush social media channels so we worked alongside their photographer to develop a visual style that embraced the warm, friendly atmosphere of their venues. We also suggested that their multiple Instagram accounts were combined into one group account and that budget was reallocated to paid advertising – this dramatically increased their engagement and helped their posts reach a wider audience. The decision also made it easier for their community to reach out to a team member when they needed help as there is now just one account for all communication across the different platforms.
