Rather than a timely (well nearly!) Halloween trick most people have been aware for some time that websites are no longer the only digital presence businesses require to grow. Yet it seems many businesses have yet to keep up with the trend. Or some have struggled to learn exactly how to productively engage these new mediums. Worst, is it possible that some businesses are doing themselves a disservice by engaging the social world haphazardly? Is it acceptable to promote a 'minimal' presence on hubs like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, even if that presence doesn’t fall within the ‘ideal' audience numbers (500+ LinkedIn, ≥1,000 Facebook, etc).
